Well I woke at 530 this morning, seems to be happening quite a lot these days and when i do my brain fires up and wont let me go back to sleep.

Allison and I exchanged some IM's yesterday. Matthew has been abandoned to the house until he comes here, his sister is 'baby sitting' him but there is clearly something more going on there. Vic is in Amsterdam and Alli is talking about getting a transfer of her hons to a university there. It was just a matter of time before they would make the move. Vic doesnt really like the UK and finds London VERY expensive. I would hate to see their cash flow statement if such a thing exists!
I got an email this morning from Nic with some bad news, his Dad died a little while back from cancer, bad news really, he was a spry fellow, always taking the dog for a walk on the beach, very matter of fact and entertaining to chat with. Above all he was just around the corner and for many years was a great support when we lived in die baai.

Jasper and I had an entertaining time on and off this weekend, Saturday he was at the doc, on top form until we left and then he was as mad as a snake. I had a reprise of that on Sunday afternoon but he was relatively well behaved at the botanical gardens picking up stones everywhere he went. I wonder where he gets this hunter gatherer instinct from.
