I t took me an hour to get home yesterday, nothing particularly exceptional going on on the roads but it nonetheless took that long. You have to figure that means that I was averaging 7.1Mph - that is terrible!!!! I don't think the people coming from even montlake terrace go that slow!

Anyhow, we had a most interesting afternoon of it, now it appears that there is a minor anxiety attack striking certain people on the scheduling of work, nothing I can do about that per se but I do feel that the developers are ducking and diving like there is no tomorrow.

I spoke with a friend working up at the silver bird factory in Everett and they were telling me horror stories about some of the things that they have to deal with - astonishing - from sexual harrassment to just plain downright stupidity.

I had the opportunity to rant about BR again and the person on the other end listened very patiently, I was suprised. Then they started ranting on about their brother who has a phd in 14th religioun but can't seem to hold down a proper job! I wonder why.... I suggested he become a priest - too late - he is married and apparently married into it!

KJL's brother-in-law has abandoned his acting career it appears and will return to Seattle, apparently he and the little family will resettle - it seems odd to me that someone who has made a successful online business doing permits for commerce and enterprise and employs a dozen people should be so concerned about being a major thespian  - he spends more than 12 hours a day on his enterprise anyway and that industry all hinges on timing and contacts - obviously he failed on both counts.

I went to see No Country for Old Men has my current unfavorite actor Javier Bardem he is undoubtedly a good actor, I just don't like him. I really enjoy   Tommy Lee Jones as an actor but not in a fatherly, brotherly or admiring kind of a way, he comes across as very dour and hard-assed which is cool, also those puffy eyes -eugh! Anyhow, he plays a good cameo in this movie, the script was a bit disjointed though but there were some really interesting vignettes. The fact that it is based on a true story makes it VERY disturbing!
